Chosen Action 1Organising initiatives for the exchange of experience (both academic and practical) and the further training of professionals Description of the activity: At a practical level, the parties shall organise initiatives for the exchange of experience and the further training of professionals. The project design and planning, the realisation of the project, the meetings and seminars and the different themes of the project allow the participants and other interested parties to widen their knowledge concerning underwater cultural heritage. The project itself is an educational programme. The project is based on the practical needs of cultural operators of underwater cultural heritage. The project enables professionals to improve their skills particularly in the fields of monitoring, safeguarding, conservation, and management. The project enables the development of good practises and management systems. Objectives: Exchange of experience and the further training of professionals. The target group: All participants of the project, cultural operators and professionals, young professionals and students. An indicative timetable: Throughout the project (1 July 2001 - 30 June 2004). The expected results: Exchange of experience in the form of meetings and seminars, reports, publications and scientific articles. Networking and co-operation of cultural operators. |
