What are the expected results of the Safeguarding Theme?

There will be two reports:

1. A written management plan for each of the four wrecks of the project
   • Management plan for the wreck of Burgzand Noord 10 (PDF, 2.83M)
   • Management plan for the wreck of Darsser Kogge (PDF, 321K)
   • Management plan for the wreck of Eric Nordevall (PDF, 1.0M)
   • Management plan for the wreck of Vrouw Maria (PDF, 1.91M)

2. General instructions on how to manage North European shipwreck sites

   The instructions will be about legislation in different countries, international rules and regulations, the organisations that protect cultural heritage, well-known underwater antiquities and their registers, the different criteria concerning shipwreck sites, and the different ways of action.
